  • Represented a multi-national pharmaceutical client on technology agreements for a €2.1 billion acquisition of a global leader in AI digital health services. Led diligence on seller’s artificial intelligence drug development systems, patents, trade secrets, and freedom to operate.
  • Represented a pharmaceutical client for a $20 million upfront development and collaboration agreement directed to a new therapy for treating an ultra-rare genetic disease, and led freedom-to-operate assessments. 
  • Represented a life sciences industry leader in a $30 million share acquisition of an emerging biotechnology company developing therapies for tumor treatments.
  • Represented a pharmaceutical client in negotiations of patent interests and led freedom-to-operate assessments for a $300 million royalty monetization transaction involving acquisition and financing of license royalty streams.
  • Represented biopharmaceutical patent owners in patent litigation settlements.

Aerospace Defense

  • Successfully obtained a $25 million IP price reduction while leading IP price negotiations for procuring aircraft software platforms and services on behalf of the U.S. Air Force under a $49.7 million not-to-exceed contract. 
  • Developed an innovative contracting solution commended by the former Assistant Secretary of the Air Force as an exemplary procurement strategy in a $138 million procurement contract with commercial vendors to develop specialized software, AI, and hardware systems for a major Air Force computer network. 
  • Represented the Air Force on procuring cloud computing architecture from a leading commercial provider under a $166 million task order and $9 billion ceiling customer agreement.
  • Led a priority legislative proposal directed to optimizing acquisitions for addressing defense technology needs.
